DIEGO BEHNCKE
Chile / Berlin
AUGUST 17 → SEPTEMBER 17

Overclock Paracetamol is part of an ongoing line of research into tics, compulsive somatic reflexes, and operational rebounds, understood as feedback chains regulated by micro-stimuli dispersed throughout a system.
The artwork takes the form of a sculptural and media installation shaped by notions of spontaneous artificial intelligence, psycho-tic acoustics, and subliminal, hallucinatory mechanisms.
It brings together the cryptic figures of a sleepwalking puppet and a tic-gamer, whose presence is rendered tangible and intensified across time and space through an assemblage of non-linear narratives, sculptural artifacts, kinetic objects, and sound.

Diego Behncke is a Berlin-based artist and musician whose work is materialized through the framework of fictional configurations, utilizing abstraction and synthetic procedures. In the context of installation and performance art, he favors a diagonal approach based on obscuring processes that initiate an encounter between the history of technology, bio-mythographic structures, and inorganic paleoarcheology.
As part of his practice, he runs the experimental music label Prensa Manual.
