Pharmakon is an interactive installation where a printed herbarium acts as a portal to a virtual liminal garden. Through a combination of 3D animation and analogue video, the artwork explores the duality between cure and poison in a universe inspired by natural sciences and occult traditions.
Sabrina Ratté crée des écosystèmes qui se manifestent sous différentes formes : installations, vidéos, impressions, sculptures ou réalité virtuelle. Explorant la convergence entre technologie et biologie, l’interaction entre matérialité et virtualité et l’évolution spéculative de notre environnement, elle dépeint des mondes dépourvus de présence humaine où des vestiges oubliés continuent d’évoluer. Ses œuvres ont été exposées à Montréal, New York, Paris, Tokyo et Shanghai.
