PHARMAKON
création
SABRINA RATTÉ

Pharmakon is an interactive installation where a printed herbarium acts as a portal to a virtual liminal garden. Through a combination of 3D animation and analogue video, the artwork explores the duality between cure and poison in a universe inspired by natural sciences and occult traditions.
Sabrina Ratté creates ecosystems that manifest in various forms: installations, videos, prints, sculptures, and virtual reality. Exploring the convergence of technology and biology, the interaction between materiality and virtuality, and the speculative evolution of our environment, she depicts worlds devoid of human presence where forgotten vestiges continue to evolve. Her works have been exhibited in Montreal, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
An artwork made with the technological collaboration of Guillaume Arseneault and the sounds of Roger Tellier-Craig.
