NADY LARCHET
Québec, Québec

Points de suspension is a generative sound and kinetic installation that looks at the invisible violence within human relationships. Communities of suspended objects are animated by principles of magnetic attraction and repulsion and their interactions modify sound and video sequences. The evolution of the sequences transforms the parameters of the algorithm that controls the electromagnetic events so that the artwork develops autonomously.
Nady Larchet is a multidisciplinary artist from Côte-Nord who explores, through the media, a personal representation of the invisible impacts of human activity. She uses interactivity, electronics and sound art to create controlled or self-generated installations and compositions. Her works offer a contemplative and reflective metaphor for daily life which abandons itself to the discrepancies and contradictions of a vision in constant reevaluation.
Nady holds a master's degree in visual arts from Université Laval for which she received the René-Richard excellence prize. In 2021 she co-founded EXEcentrer, an organization dedicated to media arts in Chaudière-Appalaches.
